AMX Podcasting

AMX Podcasting is a groundbreaking tool designed especially to support AMX sales professionals. Podcasts are short video programs, similar to mini TV shows that keep you informed on all the latest AMX information including corporate communications, AMX media coverage, customer profiles and more coming soon.

All Podcasts can be viewed and shared from anywhere using your Apple iPod Video or from a PC or Laptop using the Apple iTunes Media Player. Whether in the office or out in the field, AMX Podcasts give you the edge to support your customers like never before.

Loading Your Podcasts
To begin retrieving your Podcasts, you will first need to make sure that iTunes is installed on your PC. Install iTunes now. http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ All of the available Podcasts will be loaded into iTunes and automatically synched to your iPod the next time you plug in. To begin loading, simply click on each of the Podcast channels in the black box to your left and described below:

  • AMX University – Announcements and other valuable information from AMX Training
  • Broadcast Coverage – Television news coverage featuring AMX products and installations
  • Customer Profiles – Actual, real world customer installations featuring AMX products
  • Corporate & Employee Communications – Important updates from AMX Management and Human Resources
  • Installation Strategies & Techniques – Technical information for installing AMX products
  • Product Introductions & Demonstrations – Valuable information on new and existing AMX products
  • Sales Promotions & Announcements – Details on new sales promotions and announcements
  • Sales Strategies & Techniques – Communication tips for selling AMX products
  • Trade Shows & Events – Overviews and wrap-ups of key AMX trade shows and events

 

  1. Browse to http://podcast.amx.com/
  2. Click the Podcast Channel to which you would like to subscribe.
  3. iTunes is launched, and the Podcast subscription is established.
  4. Videos and audio for that channel are downloaded to iTunes (your local machine).
  5. Clicking the Arrow next to the podcast in iTunes will expand the list of all available podcasts.

You will only need to come back to this site whenever a new Podcast Channel is added, which we will notify you of, by email. To load a new channel, just click on it in the black box.
